Persona 5 Inspired Animation

As a fun project in After Effects, I decided to replicate the style of Persona’s cutscenes but with characters from the Simpsons. To accomplish this, I studied the cutscenes and picked out cues to take into account. This involved the visual style, timing as well as how the sprite assets were assembled.

In the example below, I recreated the Steamed Hams meme while trying to replicate a Persona 5 style cutscene.
